Local elections are right around the corner followed immediately by the primary run-off election scheduled for May 27th. If not registered or if you recently moved, you have until Monday, April 28th to register or update your address. Applications may be found at all county tax offices or online at www.galcotax.com. This online application is post-paid and is a two page application that you may print, complete, fold together and drop in the mail. Not in Galveston County? Go online to www.VoteTexas.gov. Applications may also be deposited in the yellow drop box located outside each full time GCTO office. Thanks to a recent legislative change, replacement voter certificates may be obtained by submitting a request to GCTO via telephone (see below), fax (409-766-2479) or email ([email protected]). Include your full name and date of birth and a replacement will be mailed to the address on file (to prevent fraud).
