While waiting at the Golden Gate,
Step aside for some who might be late.
Request that, “ You go on in ahead.
You encouraged when we were filled with dread.
First to respond when we would call.
Rushed to do what you could for all.
You were the first to help we know
And hold our hand when it was time to go.
You were our angels. That we learned,
And Heavenly wings you have earned.
You came first when we were ill.
Please now go in front if you will.
For we can never thank you more
Then say, ‘Enter first through Heaven’s door’.”
