Please join us tomorrow night, April 23rd, for a Community Coordination Meeting. The meeting is at 7 pm at the JP Courtroom at 946 Noble Carl Road, Crystal Beach. Here’s a map:LINK. At this town hall-style meeting, we’ll update folks on what’s going on in Galveston County government, get feedback from residents on those issues, and hear about other issues our county government can address. We will discuss topics such as: local parks; the beach sticker program; and pending capital projects. There will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions on whatever topic they like. There also will be an update 0n the Emergency Services District election. Come hear the details of the upcoming election.

Commissioner Dennard: I see there’s a bill in the Texas Legislature on the Open Beaches Act. If that is passed then the dunes can be moved back so there will be a beach. Please voice our concern to keep a beach.
