Not since Mike VanZandt shot even par from the Gold Par 3 tees at the recent Club Championship has Michael Comeaux lost a par 3 contest at the Ranch. Since his career high 40 on March 20th, the Port Bolivar softball legend has dominated the Par 3 contests, shooting low score six consecutive rounds. On Sunday, Comeaux’s team of Mike Mitchell, Will Armstrong, and Dewey Jones edged VanZandt, Robin Giddens, Lance Ferguson and Dennis in a one shot shootout to win the Sunday Scramble and take home all the loot.
Tiki Bar and Grill Tournament is this Saturday. Go by the Tiki Bar and Grill or the Ranch to sign up if you haven’t already. Karen and Chris Gatlin’s tournament is always special at the Ranch and this year’s contest promises to live up to past events. See you there.
