Marvelous Marsha Fredenburg turned 70 on June 27, 2020. That was certainly a cause for grand celebration. However, Mr. Covid-19 threw a spanner into the works. No big birthday party for 2020? What could be done to fix the problem? Husband Moody Fredenburg solved that dilemma by throwing THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF MARSHA FREDENBURG’S 70th BIRTHDAY party on June 27, 2021. It was a SURPRISE for Marsha. Their children Micky, Kelley, Robin, and DeeDee set to work organizing a super shindig. Family and friends jumped in to assist. The Pavilion at Crab Fest Park was the location. Jose’s would do the catering. Elaine Rollfing created, not one, but three of her fantastic cakes for the evening. Magnificent decorations incorporated a decor of purple and gold.
How to keep the secret from Marsha? Well, that wiley Moody concocted several surprise parties before the night of the big event. Thursday and Friday brought unexpected guests for little parties. Each time, Marsha, thought that was it. Moody declared on Saturday that a planned birthday dinner was in store at Jose’s for friends and family who had arrived. Moody started driving them westward. As they closed in on The Pavilion, Moody declared, “Look at all those cars over there. Let’s go see what is going on.” Marsha exclaimed, “ You didn’t!.” They drove in to find a huge crowd, and signs proclaiming. “FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY, MARSHA”.
Bobby Enloe and band started up the best Country and Western music for Texas Two-Step, Three-Step, Waltz or “Just Do Your Own Step,” dance numbers. (Marsha and Moody are know for their excellent dancing.) People cheered and clapped as Marsha entered the premises. Folks filled up for good food and drink.
Then the Way Off Broadway Singers, with help from Mr. Enloe and group, held a presentation to honor Marsha. “Hello, Marsha,” rang from Cindy Hunt, Elaine Rollfing, Rita Moseley and Linda C. Elissalde. Moody escorted Marsha to the front. Where upon Marsha was crowned as queen of the evening. Then, everyone enjoyed Elaine’s wonderful cakes. Bobby Enloe and band struck up again. Guests of all ages eagerly danced to the outstanding musical presentations.
It was a real triumph for honoring Marsha Fredenburg with THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF MARSHA FREDENBURG’S 70TH BIRTHDAY! What is up for next year?

A great party for a great gal. So glad I was able to attend and share in the wonderful celebration.
Love you Marsha.
Thanks to all my family and wonderful friends. I don’t think I have ever had such a fun Birthday.
Love all of y’all. ♥️❤️ To my Hubby Moody, I love you and am glad you survived. Lol
Hugs and love,
Marsha
Marsha became my inspiration for “stick-to-it, gal!” when I joined the swim exercises way back when. She could do all of them free-standing in the pool. I did well to do them hanging onto the wall! I’d position myself right behind Marsha and kept falling until finally I (well, almost) could make it through the entire hour without plopping over into the water — except for those blissful exercises that required you to do so!
