Bay Vue Methodist Church and the Eagles 3719 would like to thank everyone who came out to donate blood last Friday at Bay Vue Methodist Church. We had 18 donors, and of those 18, 6 people were able to donate “double reds” so we got credit for 24 units! We also had no “deferrals”, which means no one got turned down who tried to donate, a first for us. We would like to send out a special thank you to Chris Gatlin, from Tiki Bar and Grill, who always comes through for us in providing lunches for all the Gulf Coast Regional Blood folks who come from Houston to collect our blood donations. Chris has been doing this every blood drive for quite some time and we greatly appreciate it. Speaking of blood drives, the next one will be in early May 2025.
