Texas Crab Festival Announces Creation of Bolivar Peninsula Charities Endowment

Texas Crab Festival Charities (TCFC) is proud to announce the establishment of the Bolivar Peninsula Charities Endowment, a new initiative aimed at supporting the residents of the Bolivar Peninsula, from Port Bolivar to High Island. This endowment will provide vital resources and funding to enhance the quality of life for the local community. The Bolivar Peninsula Charities Endowment is designed to address a variety of needs within the community, including educational scholarships and support for local organizations. By creating this endowment, TCFC aims to ensure long-term, sustainable support for the residents of the Bolivar Peninsula.

Key Objectives of the Endowment:

  • Educational Grants: Providing financial assistance to students pursuing higher education, vocational training, and other educational opportunities.
  • Community Support: Funding local schools, volunteer fire departments, and other community organizations that contribute to the well-being of the peninsula’s residents.
  • Emergency Financial Assistance: Offering one-time grants to residents facing a temporary financial challenge.

The endowment will be funded through proceeds from the annual Texas Crab Festival, as well as donations from generous patrons and sponsors. Since its inception, the Texas Crab Festival has been dedicated to supporting the local community, and this endowment represents a continuation of that commitment.

“The Texas Crab Festival has always been about bringing our community together and giving back,” said Tom Osten, President of Texas Crab Festival Charities. “With the creation of the Bolivar Peninsula Charities Endowment, we are taking a significant step towards ensuring that our community continues to thrive for generations to come.”

Residents and supporters are encouraged to contribute to the Bolivar Peninsula Charities Endowment to help make a lasting impact on the community. Donations can be made online at https://tcfcharities.org/ or by contacting the Texas Crab Festival Charities.
