We have been in our new home for almost a month now and I have come to the conclusion the Byus Duo is addicted to TV! We have two antennas, one is a dish and one is not, but it works well. We brought our lil’ black boxes from our cable company with us so all we had to do was hook-them-up. WRONG! RR has plugged those wires every way but loose. We even had a tech friend come over Sunday and they did all the plugging again. The man (RR), knows what he is doing and we still get a code 77 “something is wrong.”
Before Sunday we could only get 3 channels and now we have many religious stations and stations in foreign languages. What we cannot do is record shows we like and skip through commercials. Most of the shows we like come on at the same time on different channels; guess what, time to make a decision. Flip a coin!? Nope that has not worked too well.
The bad part of this is our cable company will not come to a RV park and they tell us to call another 1-800 number for the camper dish. The dish works fine, it hooks on to many (italics somethings), I forgot what RR calls them.
The funny part of all this is we are now watching shows we would never have considered before. Some are ok and some are just noise, but that is where the “spoiled rotten” comes in. I guess I’ll leave the grandchildren and their phones alone for a while. I think they would say “welcome to our world Grandma.”
Nascar starts in a few weeks on Fox sports, so I told RR he had two choices: 1) get the darn thing fixed, or, 2) hook this house up to the truck and get me to Florida. He wasn’t scared, double darn!
