One vote, one voice, one prayer, or one Raffle Ticket! During the Crab Festival last May my husband, Gary, and I bought a raffle ticket. It was for a good cause, The Garth House, a group that protects children in the mid county from child abuse. The tickets where expensive, $100 each. We bought one and listened to our friends tease us for spending that much for one chance. Well the ticket paid off and after selling tickets for 5 more months they finally had the drawing and our ticket was chosen out of 530 tickets. We are the proud owners of the bright yellow Jeep Wrangler that was on display. So sometimes all you need is one chance for something great to happen.
