The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Citizens’ Academy #18, is scheduled to be held on Bolivar Peninsula; applications are now available. If you plan to attend, please complete the application and return to Tommy Hansen. All information becomes property of the GCSO and is confidential. See below for copies of the application and schedule of classes. This academy will answer a lot of questions about the operation of the Sheriff’s Office! The Academy could begin as early as late August, so it is important you get your application in asap.
The Galveston County Citizen Sheriff’s Academy is a 38-hour block of instruction designed to give its graduates a working knowledge of the Sheriff’s Office structure and function.
