Every Monday when I come to work, someone will ask me “How was your weekend?” I saw a meme on Facebook this morning, something about “Well, I went to WalMart, I slept in, I had a nap.” Every weekend for me is fantastic! I took off work on Friday to go to town and shop. I began at Hobby Lobby because I was too excited to do anything absolutely necessary. I take it back, I got the car washed first, then, Hobby Lobby. I was a little disappointed they still had Thanksgiving stuff out on the main isle. Actually had a conversation with another lady who was shopping down the same Christmas isle as myself. She complained about how the isles should be wider, I said, “but then, they couldn’t put as much Christmas stuff out.” I had no problem spending some $$ there, even bought another tree for the front deck next to the Nutcracker.
From there, I went to the newest HEB at Eldorado and purchased everything I would have shopped at Sam’s for and more …
Avoiding Sam’s, I had so much time at Dillard’s. I had a few people to get presents for at Dillard’s, so I had a blast there, all three floors!
Having all day Saturday to spend at home, I wrapped more Christmas presents and continued decorating the house. Found Izzy working next door, so I recruited her to finish spreading mulch in the garden.
As you can see, so far, no time for naps.
Sunday, church and breakfast and Farmer’s Market. Then, I dragged my husband to WalMart for more Christmas lights. I’ve decided to go multi-colored lights outside practically doubling the quantity. My favorite time of the year can’t stop me now, I’m on a roll!
