On Saturday Oct 31, Robbie Van Zandt held a BBQ Cookoff at Lazy D&D RV Resort in memory of his dad Mr. Robert Van Zandt. Mr Van Zandt was very passionate about the Sports Association in Bolivar so Robbie donated all the proceeds to Peninsula Sports Park. With 12 teams competing, it a fun day for all ages with good weather and great BBQ. Robbie would like to make this an annual event.

This event was basically cook teams socializing.
Our crew went and we were looked at like uninvited guests?
No Food to sample as that was our purpose as well as donating to the kids.
The publicized event should include clear details as to what time different foods are
entered for judging AND when the public can sample.
If this is strictly for the Cookers and Company please say so as it did not
portray a public event.
