Peninsula Market Day

The winning combination: beautiful weather, the perfect location, teamwork and so many talented individuals made for a VERY successful 2012 Peninsula Market Day event, sponsored by the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. On Saturday, September 22nd, approximately 10 vendors came together under the Eagles Lodge to set up their booths. Everything from homemade jams, beautiful wooden crosses, beaded utensils and Christmas decorations, sea glass jewelry, art from two local artists, and of course, treasurers sold by the Fishing Club were displayed. A cool breeze graced the throngs of shoppers. An added bonus, the Eagles sponsored a Fish Fry to pull in the crowds, what more could you ask for?? Be sure to join us next year. Hopefully, we can team up with the Eagles for another fun-packed day!
