What a delightful experience for the students at Crenshaw Elementary & Middle School! The Houston Opera put on their performance of Hansel and Gretel at 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday, December 19that Crenshaw Elementary and Middle School. It was amazing to watch the expressions on the faces of these children as they experienced Opera for the first time. As the wicked witch meet her fate at the hands of Hansel and Gretel, the children applauded and cheered as they watched and listened in fascination. 
This performance was offered free to all residents of Bolivar Peninsula and was such a positive experience for everyone.
A large heartfelt expression of gratitude to The Texas Commission on the Arts and Target for making this possible for our students. Thank you!
