The weather is bearable. This is why we put up with August, right? I mean September. August was tolerable with all the rain. September was not bearable. Less tourists too. What a feeling to go out to our beaches and find no one there. Although, I was quite surprised to see so many folks this weekend out on the beach. But it’s not the same traffic, so to speak. It’s mostly families and they’re not speeding up and down our street. We did see a few horseback riders headed up our road from the beach. We guessed they were off to The Big Store for beer and snack, but they kept it under the 20 mph.
