Migrant Birds

By Jim Stevenson
I took a little time off the last two afternoons to shoot in my yard with Alan Murphy and Brian Small, probably the best two bird photographers in the Country. They do their migrant songbird photography here. Rather than a PDF, this time I’m sending the pictures of medium-sized birds (no warblers) with numbers, so you can test your ID skills. Still have ample room in our van for the Bolivar/High Island field trip Saturday. Great field trip, and with this cold front, there should be lotsa birds around! If you photographers are wondering the kind of photo ops you’ll get week-after-next at the Mon-Fri photo workshop, see attached the attached bird pictures! And then…there’s the close-up shorebirds!
