What do you have when you get 14 good friends together for a weekend of food, fun, golf, and a little beer drinking? Links & Lager. That is the name of a nearly-annual event that has been held for the last dozen or so years, and it gets better with age. They come from Houston, Dallas and Lafayette to enjoy the sun and catch up on old times. This year the group stayed at the Crystal Beach Villa, a beautiful home on the Intracoastal Canal with spectacular views and luxury accommodations. It is very easy to get comfortable at a place like that.
