Lazy Gardener & Friends Newsletter

From Brenda Beust Smith,
Just spreading the word: On the drawing board now is a new “LAZY GARDENER & FRIENDS” newsletter. This free, online newsletter is a project of John Ferguson and Mark Bowen of Nature’s Way Resources with The Lazy Gardener, Brenda Beust Smith. At this point, we are informing everyone to see if you would be interested in receiving this publication about gardening specific to the Greater Houston/Gulf Coast area. We are still in the planning stages, so please be patient. We’ll let you know when the first issue is posted.

Be assured that, as with my own personal lazy gardener email list, this list will never be shared or sold, and you will never receive anything from it other than the newsletter.

If you’d like to be informed when this newsletter will begin online, please just reply to [email protected], giving us:

1. Your full name:
2. Your email address:

Thanks!

    Hi Brenda,
I wasn’t for sure how to reach you anymore, so thought I would give this a try.
I’m getting close to retiring from my W-2 job and want to devout more time to my nursery and all other things Bulbs/flowers.
I have been unable to obtain a number to reach anyone involved with The Houston Garden Club. I even sent a note by way of e-mail to inquire about joining (that has been a few weeks ago) and have not received a response.
Do you by any chance have a number or an email address where I might reach someone about joining?
I hope you are doing well, I enjoy your letter each time it comes out. Regards,
    Patty Allen

Please disregard my earlier request to be included on a newsletter, I was referring to the gardening one. I now, realize that I should have requested that directly instead of on this forum.
I am sorry to take your time.

Brenda, would love to have some suggestions of what would live in large containers outdoors at a weekender home? I haven’t found the right thing yet. Am using the usual hibiscus, lantana and periwinkle in the ground but would love to use a few large containers under the house (part sun and part shade). Any suggestions? Welcome back to the peninsula. Thanks, Myra Clay
