Another new business has opened in Crystal Beach. Driving down Hwy 87, it is impossible to miss all the brightly flying kites and the giant 35 foot spin sock flying from the 50 foot flag pole in mid town Crystal Beach! Kites and Flags Unlimited has taken over the 1800 square foot building located at 1815 Hwy. 87. The store displays over 100 different styles of kites, 200 windsocks, flags, whirly flying pelicans, fish, banners, toys, etc. Stop in and meet owners Gunner Newberry and Kate Veeder, and let them show you around their beautiful (and colorful) new store.
Gunner grew up in the kite business, and his father, Stephen Newberry, has operated the Kites Unlimited store in Galveston for 28 years. In fact, Stephen is a Guinness Book of World Records holder for kite flying.
The store also specializes in flags, custom flags and flag poles of any size. If you desire a custom flag, Kites and Flags Unlimited is your place! You can expect a 2-3 week turnaround.
Please join Kites and Flags Unlimited at their Grand Opening and Ribbon cutting May 5th at 1:00. And you can also see them at the Texas Crab Festival, May 11-13.
If you have any questions about kites-flags-flagpoles, please contact Gunner or Kate at 409-684-1010.
Do you have any liberal, progressive flags for the deck? Want happy and positive, not “burn down the house”.
I have a house in Crystal Beach and my husband used to have Bluesky Golf Cart Rentals. We have always had one of your flags or wind spinners. The one I have at home finally bit the dust ( years old). How can I order online? Still have house in CB. but don’t go often.
Please email site so I can order.
I ordered a scaled down version of your Rainbow rolling flay you have hanging in front of your office in October 2016 and still have not seen it or heard anything about it. Can you please contact me at the e-mail above or (817) 798-0771
Do you have any come and take it flags
Your store looks fantastic! I want to buy one kites and flags but don’t know what I want. Could you give me some ideas. Thanks!
I recently bought (Saturday – June 21, 2014)) a high quality $36.95 Texas flag and a $14.95 yellow and red crab flag. They were sealed and unopened to the best of my knowledge. The Texas flag is great. The crab flag has mildew stains, red stains (blood?) and a hole in it. Is there any way I could get a refund/exchange the next time I come down?
Thank you,
Terry Ferguson
