James (Jim) Thomas Sanders Jr., 68, passed away on April 4, 2015 surrounded by his beloved family. He had two passions in life…his family and the pursuit of knowledge. Always an avid reader, he read a library of books in a variety of subjects and possessed a remarkable ability to retain the information. Later in life, he started building computers and he made sure any one of his family or friends who needed or wanted a computer got one, with the best mother board, hard drive and memory installed by his own hands. He loved astrophysics and could explain quantum mechanics and string theory in layman’s terms. His mind was brilliant, until Alzheimer’s took hold of it.
Jim is survived by his wife, Liz Sanders and his children and their families: Patrick Sanders and his wife Tiffany along with their children Ava, Kieran and Kellan; Kevin Sanders and his children Alexa and Travis; Sarah (Sanders) Nagy and her husband Kris along with their children Mia, Jack and Ella; and Meaghan (Sanders) Ganucheau and her husband Neil along with their son, Fynn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1914 Ridgeview Dr., Allen, TX 75013.
