Dear Tom & Georgia,
I still come through Bolivar Peninsula at least once a month to go to doctors appts., check mail, pay bills, etc. and then back to Mom’s in Louisiana (who is doing miraculously well) or I go to Mexia to get a good dose of my daughter and grandchildren.
But every time I pass through High Island and see the ocean ahead, my mind wanders of all the great people I have come to know and love on Bolivar. I open the windows to smell the salt air and feel the fresh air as it brushes over my face and I watch to see what the waters are doing that day. I have come to love Bolivar since the first I knew of it, the summer of 1984.
That is why I must say, Since you have taken over the CBLN, it has been a pleasure to watch you guys in action. God has blessed me with your lives and talents. I love to keep up with all the goings on even if I can’t be there personally, please know Bolivar has a special place in my heart & soul. The continued growth of CBLN is something I am very proud of. I love the new format, Erinn is doing a great job as webmaster AND I absolutely love the featured writers.
I miss you all on the peninsula, I miss what I once had. But thankful, oh, so thankful Lord that Tom & Georgia continue to update us all who love Bolivar.
With much love,
Pamela Couch
