Note, again the weird cold front weather patterns ruling the fishing action at Rollover with warm front days doing well for reds- trout- and flounder and cold front winds keeping the bite down- But despite these staccato fronts trout and red anglers landed specks to 10 lbs and reds to 40 lbs- Hopefully our weather will finally decide what it wants to do and stabilize.

Speckled Trout:
Very good trout action both in the cut and surf, when the weather and tides allow. Trout anglers were catching some pretty impressive specks with several 8 to 10lbers caught and released. (Limits- 15inch minimum for 10 trout per day with only one 25inch trout per day allowed as part of your daily limit).
Redfish-(Red Drum):
Excellent redfish action with slots to 24inches and bulls to 40inches landed . (Limits, 20inches minimum to 28inch maximum for 3 reds per day, one over 28inch red allowed when tagged and as a part of your 3 fish limit).
Black Drum:
Slowing down but still providing good fish for the family fish fries, (14inch minimum to 30inch maximum for 5 fish per day with one OVER 52inches allowed when a part of your daily limit).
Flounder:
Slow but steady (14inch minimum for 5 fish per day).
Sheepshead:
SLOW, (Limit- 15inch minimum with 5 per day Creel).
Gafftop Catfish: Good runs of gaffs to 8lbs. (14inch minimum for no limit creel).
Whiting/Croaker: Great whiting in the surf (No Limit).
Sandtrout/Gulftrout: Slow (No Limits).
Blue Claw Crab:
Steady crab but slow in numbers. (5 inches between points with no berry crabs;females with eggs, allowed).
Stone Crabs:
A few stones coming in from the rocky areas. (Limit; only right claw may be kept when 2 1/2 inches above first knuckle).
Stingaree bait camp report:
Excellent speck and red action around East Bay flats, reefs, and grass- many limits being had on both bait and plastic anglers when weather and tides allow.
