By Ed Snyder/Outdoors
Summary: The once phenom speckled trout run has slipped back into normal this past week but several nice trout are still being caught. Reds have taken over the #1 spot now with lots of good reds to 42 inches coming in from the surf and the cut. Golden croaker are beginning their run now with several 12 to 15 inchers being caught. The excitement for this past week came in the form of Pilot Whales visiting the pass.
