Summary: Specks in the surf have provided excellent catches for both cut and surf anglers for trout from 2 to 5 lbs. Baywaders picking up trout averaging 2 lbs. A few flounder were caught but mostly undersized. Night anglers fishing the lights doing well for schooly specks to 3 lbs.

Speckled Trout
Surf waders fishing the outgoing doing well for specks to 5 lbs. Night time anglers fishing under lights catching near limits to 3 lbs. Baywaders doing well early for chicken trout with 1 out of 5 a keeper (Limit: 15 inch minimum for 10 trout with only one 25 inch trout per day allowed as part of your daily limit).
Redfish-(Red Drum)
Reds slow but a few slot and bulls are being caught on the outgoing (Limit: 20 inches minimum to 28 inch maximum for 3 reds per day, one over 28 inch red, plus bonus red, allowed when properly tagged in addition to your 3 fish limit).
Black Drum
A few keepers being caught with an occasional bull to 30 plus inches (Limit: 14 inch minimum to 30 inch maximum for 5 fish per day with one OVER 52 inches allowed).
Flounder
Slow, anglers fishing the bay on the early tide picking up a few keepers Limit: (14 inch minimum for 5 fish per day).
Sheepshead
SLOW (Limit- 15 inch minimum with 5 per day Creel).
Gafftop Catfish
The run is over but a few small gafftop still coming in (Limit: 14 inch minimum for no limit creel).
Whiting/Croaker
Fish fry boxes are being filled with handsized croaker with a few nice whiting adding to the menu (No Limit).
Sandtrout/Gulftrout
Sandies making a great showing under the lights (No Limit).
Blue Claw Crab
Steady crab in size and numbers (Limit: 5 inches between points with no berry crabs-females with eggs).
Stone Crabs
A few stones coming in from the rocky areas (Limit: only right claw may be kept when 2 1/2 inches above first knuckle).
STINGAREE BAIT CAMP Report:
Excellent speck and red action around East Bay flats, reefs, and grass; many limits being had on both bait and plastic anglers when weather and tides allow. A 28 inch, 8lb-13oz speck was weighed in at Stingaree for the STAR tournament.
