Blaine Ochoa, born and raised Crystal Beach native, now holds the crown for Miss Houston 2019. Blaine was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at High Island High School. She went on to Texas State University and later returned to Beaumont where she now works for Beaumont’s 12News, as well as writing for various Houston magazines and modeling. She spent much of her life dreaming of pageantry competitions. In 2017, she was awarded 1st runner-up in Miss Houston USA and Miss Kemah USA pageants. She didn’t give up on her dreams and now wears the crown as Miss Houston USA 2019. Blaine will compete for Miss Texas USA in the Fall of 2019.
