The Gilchrist Community Association invites you to the 2nd Annual Crawfish Boil at Rollover Pass, May 26th. Crawfish plates with all the fixings will be sold from 12:00pm-5:00pm for $10 a plate. Additional pounds will be available for purchase for $5/pound.

The Gilchrist Community Association, with coordination from the Gulf Coast Rod, Reel, and Gun Club, maintains and manages Rollover Pass, the only free and accessible fishing location in Texas. The Gilchrist Community Association pays for the maintenance and upkeep of Rollover Pass without the assistance of any budgeted funds from the county or state funds. The General Land Office of Texas has applied for a permit to close Rollover Pass, but they do not have permission from the Army Corps of Engineers yet to do so. Proceeds from the Crawfish Boil will go to general cleaning and maintenance of the Pass as well as to legal fees that might be incurred while opposing the General Land Office and their closing of Rollover Pass. The Gilchrist Community Association hopes to keep Rollover Pass open in a clean and safe environment for generations to enjoy for years to come. Please join us in supporting this cause!
