Burn Ban for Unincorporated Galveston County

On Monday, January 27th, 2014, the Commissioners’ Court of Galveston County, Texas voted to institute a ban restricting outdoor burning for all unincorporated areas of the county. The ban is effective immediately and will be in place until further notice. Violation of the ban is a Class C Misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
