BOLIVAR PENINSULA CULTURAL FOUNDATION (BPCF) scored a win with their first outing of the year. Members met for a great lunch at Shark Shack Beach Bar & Grill on the Strand. Other diners heard the group talking about their planned visit to THE BRYAN MUSEUM. Two couples were so interested that they signed up immediately and joined everyone for the tour.
Docents Dennis Pachulski and Lynne Langdale were outstanding. Lynne guided us deftly through the museum. She is a true encyclopedia of Southwest history and patiently delivered details in a charming manner. Entranced listeners followed Lynne up and down throughout the entire museum. A new exhibit DESTINATION MOON is well worth a visit.
Farmers Market, set up behind the museum, completed the tour. There were plenty of goods to buy including the ever popular homemade breads.
You might want to consider joining BPCF. They help our community keep Bolivar Peninsula arts and history alive. BPCF plans more entertaining events. Next up is WINE TASTING at Villa Oasis on March 5. Contact Elinor Tinsley at 713-256-3447 for tickets or information about joining the organization.
When you add BOLIVAR PENINSULA CULTURAL FOUNDATION to any event, it will always equal fun!
