The event, which ran from 10 a.m. to the evening hours, featured 24 arts and crafts vendors showcasing a delightful selection of handmade goods, clothing, jewelry, and charming Christmas décor. The excitement was noticeable as eager shoppers lined up early, ready to browse for the perfect Christmas gifts. The cooler morning weather warmed up as the day progressed, creating the ideal atmosphere for attendees to stroll through the market and enjoy the day.
Peninsula Sports Park volunteers added to the festivities with a mouthwatering menu that included pulled pork sandwiches and homemade chili, providing sustenance to fuel a full day of shopping and celebration.
The market came alive with continuous entertainment that delighted visitors of all ages. The Girl Band, Brent, and DJ Raphael kept the energy high with live music throughout the day, while laughter and applause filled the air. A special highlight was the afternoon fashion show hosted by The Salty Mermaid Boutique and Latitude 29.2 Surf Shop, showcasing stylish coastal wear perfect for the season.
At 1:00 p.m., the event reached a magical moment when Santa Claus arrived on a Crystal Beach Volunteer Fire Department truck, thrilling the children who eagerly awaited their chance to share Christmas wishes.
The day culminated as the large Christmas tree at the park’s entrance was lit, casting a warm and festive glow that symbolized the start of the holiday season on Bolivar Peninsula.
