This lively crowd gathered Saturday morning to welcome Laila’s Salon to the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. A ribbon cutting took place at 11 am in front of the salon at 1830 Hwy 87, across from The Eagles. Laila has been doing business in Crystal Beach for 3 years, however, she has been cutting and styling hair since 1994, for 25 years now. Laila’s original salon was in Evadale, near Jasper, a place called Snip-Itz.
Laila’s husband, Syd, proudly thanked everyone for coming out to show their support of Beachcombers Salon. Laila and Syd plan to move to the beach permanently in the near future, look for her new hours.
