(Mar-20-2012) What a difference from last year, with the drought and lack of wildflowers. This year, they’re popping up in all the familiar places. Bluebonnets, Evening Primroses, Indian Paintbrush, Mexican Hat, Blue Eyed Grass, what a plethora of delightful sights. I’m curious to know what the yellow flowers are called. They’re so prominent here on the peninsula, somewhat like a morning glory. It seems they can grow without any moisture whatsoever. Enjoy the flowers and try not to destroy, they only last a month or so. I suppose this means Spring is finally here at last!
