The 150th Anniversary fundraiser and celebration of the iconic BOLIVAR POINT LIGHTHOUSE is set for Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 5 – 8 pm. The ultimate goal is to completely restore the lighthouse with the event focusing on raising the first $150,000 to secure the top so restoration can move forward. The full restoration amount is in excess of $4,000,000.
“This once in a lifetime event, will be an exclusive and intimate night at the lighthouse with a silent auction, food, drink, anniversary cake, a champagne toast, and more,” said Amy Maxwell Chase, Executive Director for the foundation. “We encourage everyone to be part of these events and future events, and are extremely grateful for the community support to save the BOLIVAR POINT LIGHTHOUSE” added Amy.
The BOLIVAR POINT LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION is a 501(c)(3) Texas based non-profit historical preservation organization dedicated to saving the 1872 Bolivar Point Lighthouse and sharing its legacy.
