The Southern Broadband tower providing internet to Bolivar Peninsula blew down early Monday morning, interrupting service to approximately 2,700 customers. A temporary tower was set up Monday afternoon, restoring internet service to much of the peninsula. However, customers between the post office and Tinkle Drive will be without service for several more days while a new 150′ tower. is installed.
