Solace on the Sand

15+ members of the Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation traveled to the Art Museum of Southeast Texas in Beaumont last Thursday to see their fellow member, Catherine (Cat) Holtzclaw’s “Solace on the Sand” exhibit. At 10 am the group gathered for the private tour. The museum curator was very knowledgeable and informative as he led them through the different exhibits, which were well laid out and a joy to behold. Local artists highlighted besides Cat included David Cargill: The lighter Side, and Felix “fox” Harris.

After the tour, the group enjoyed a delicious privately catered lunch by the Magnolia Cafe.

A good time was had by all!
