Just kidding, I think this one will take me 2-4 years! This is not the hardest I’ve ever done, the hardest one, I threw away! I really don’t want to give up on this one, but GEEZ, when you sit there staring at it for over 30 minutes and you haven’t found one piece, it’s pretty frustrating. We have a group coming for July 4th, so that’s my goal, to finish by then. After all, this takes up about 6 feet in my living room, and we’re going to be wall-to-wall people, not to mention, two young’uns at 3 years of age who are quite fascinated with all the little pieces.
Recently, our kids told about a series they’re watching on Amazon called Yellowstone. My husband and I only watch TV in the evening. We start at 6:30 with Wheel of Fortune, then we’ll go to less than a handful of our favorites, we don’t have many. Needless to say, we dove into the first two seasons of Yellowstone and watched 2-3 episodes a night, we were hooked. We finished just in time for the third season to begin, but we’re spoiled now. We’re thinking of waiting until we can purchase a whole season so we don’t have to endure commercials.
So now, while waiting, we started Downton Abbey and we’re totally absorbed in it. Of course, the English dialect and the fact they talk so fast, is slowing us down a bit. Thank goodness for Closed Captioning. I guess I can hear it better than I can read it, so the other night, we had the volume down low because of visitors in the house. I missed the whole episode. We had to re-watch it the next night.
