WINDS AND SEAS ARE FORECAST TO GRADUALLY DIMINISH OVER THE WEEKEND. HOWEVER…RIP CURRENTS WILL REMAIN A THREAT AT AREA BEACHES OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND…ESPECIALLY ON SATURDAY…UNTIL THE SURF SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASES IN SIZE. THOSE PLANNING ON GOING TO THE BEACH SHOULD SWIM WHERE LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY AND STAY AWAY FROM JETTIES AND PIERS.
