We couldn’t attend the big Fish Fry, I heard it was a success! They ran out of fish by 1:30, so I hope you got to indulge. We spent our weekend building a tree house and installing the trampoline. Those boys were so excited when they returned home from Oklahoma with their Mom. We began around 9 on Saturday morning. I say “We,” but I just did a lot of shopping while they toiled out in the sun. PawPaw and Matthew didn’t finish until early Sunday after church and breakfast out. The 3 Moad kids did a lot of swimming, but Addyson took a break to help her cousin Emma build the stairs for the tree house. Emma used her new chisels she got from her Dad for Christmas. Kelly and Matthew erected the trampoline. Kelly was Quality Control with regard to standards for the tree house. Emma was our OSHA adviser.
We landed back on the peninsula a little after noon on Sunday. I intended to go workout, since I’ve jumped back into the swing of it – I went one day last week. Wow, am I out of the swing of it! After unloading the car, I put clean sheets on the bed. The bed looked so comfy and welcoming, I decided to take a nap instead. I still have my PRIORITIES, after all.
