I bet I had more fun than you did on Sunday! My day started out not going to church, shame on me. My buddy was sick and unable to get out of bed for church, so being a bad Christian I stayed home, too. But that entitled me a fun four hours in the sun. Sunday was beautiful and sunny as you know and four of us played in the sun with paint brushes. As some of you might have noticed five of our porta-cans housing has been painted white. Now I am not saying a beautiful job was done BUT that is just the primer for what is coming next. Just as the kids did with the garbage cans, our fabulous artists are going to paint murals on the coverings for the porta-cans. To join this great group of artists, all you have to do is call Charlotte Stirling at 409-673-0536 or Brenda Flanagan at 409-291-9092. They will tell you how to submit your work for this fun job.
Before we left for the morning, I sprayed myself with sun screen around my neck and arms so I would not look like Farmer Brown, forgot the ears. Now I look like I am embarrassed all the time, I may need to find a bigger hat. Oh well, back to the storage unit! We had so much fun priming these five buildings and it was very easy to do as the maintenance people had trimmed all around the buildings. Anyway, if you can paint, please call one of these two ladies and join in the fun so all the beach world can see your talent.
Have a great week and enjoy the sunshine with your sunscreen.
