By Georgia Osten Right after Thanksgiving, that’s when this ol’ house begins to shine. From stem to stern … I may have gone a little overboard, it’s going to be difficult to fit all these Christmas decorations back in that closet upstairs. May need to overflow into the closet across the walkway. I can’t help it. The Nutcracker Market is a lot to blame for the addition of decorations. Plus, my daughter told me she bought another tree, so that got me to thinking I probably needed another tree. This is my gaudy little addition. I found a home out on the deck across from the Nutcracker Guy. A special unexpected treat this weekend, the Littles came to visit. Riggs & Fisher! They came with us to the Christmas Market at the Crab Fest Pavillion. PawPaw got them hotdogs and cokes (of all things)! After a chilly day at the Market, all came home, and the boys decided it was “hot tub time.” I happened to be checking up on them at one point only to find Fisher jumping into the freezing cold swimming pool to fetch a wayward baseball. Oh my goodness, the look on his face when he hit that water, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him move like lightning to get out and back into the hot tub. The boys got to visit Santa. It seems we get them every year around this time, and we go from one Santa to the next. Hoping you had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. Keep those stretchy pants out as you finish all the leftovers! [GO: Dec-3-2024]

Truth be told, I actually have gone flying off motorcycles, but never while jumping a moving train or a tank full of sharks. Never understood the shark thing. Even if you fail epically and land directly in the tank, the sharks will be far too startled to eat you. Plus, that garish jump suit is just not appetizing, sorry. I did try to jump a bar ditch one time and got
By Shannon Williams “Elvis has left the building” Well, maybe it was not Elvis that left the building, but the Big Kahuna & Big Mamma did! By Bob Currie, Recreational Boating Safety Specialist U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station Galveston Flotilla The US Coast Guard relies heavily on private boaters to assist other boaters in distress. Often the nearest boat to a vessel in distress is a private boat. When time is of the essence, it is often the private vessel operator that comes to the aid of a fellow boater, and these
