Meet the new Royalty

The 2014 Lighthouse Krewe “Seas the Fun” Champagne Brunch and Silent Auction was held last Sunday, January 12th, at Stingaree Down Under. Chair persons Glenda Mastin, Connie Hugon and Charlotte Byus planned this gala event. The Court Duchesses: Lois Riley, Bobbey White, Eve Bradford, Mavis Hunstiger & Brenda McDonald were in attendance. The Court Dukes: Ed Riley, Matt White, BB Young, Mark Hunstiger & Mac McDonald were present as well. The Court drew a number out of a hat to see who would choose the first King Cake. After all members chose a cake, they began to frantically look for the “Baby,” which would signify them as King & Queen of 2014! It must be fate – of all things, husband and wife, Matt White and Bobbey White found the Baby, thus becoming King and Queen! Former King Larry Campbell and former Queen Terry Molloy of the 2013 Endless Summer Court invited the new King and Queen to begin the buffet line. Present to join in the merry making were many past Kings and Queens pictured below.
