Michael Comeaux laid out the turquoise Par 3 course Thursday morning and then shot his second consecutive three over par 30 to tie John Milby for low score. Comeaux’s round included a birdie on the second hole which won him the only skin of the day and $160. The skin pot was doubled Thursday because no one cashed on Tuesday. Patti Atkins, who has only been golfing for a couple of months, had three pars on her way to a 36. Patti had a chance to cut Comeaux’s winnings in half on the first hole but watched her 12 foot birdie putt slide right just past the hole. Shannon O’Brien and Mike Mitchell could have prevented Comeaux’s sweep, but their birdie putts on the second hole narrowly missed finding the cup. “B” player Dabney Harrison and soon to be “B” player Mike VanZandt struggled on the unusual Par 3 layout designed by Comeaux which featured a 150 yard shot over Ranch Road to the 6th hole.
