Guidelines and Rules
- All submitted Videos, Slideshows, Photographs, and Posters (“Presentations”) must be original works and are required to have clearances for music or other copyrighted material featured in the project. Presentations containing copyrighted material used without permission will not be accepted. Cite all credits at end of the project.
- Presentations should represent the theme “Music, Art and Crabs…Gulf Coast Style” as it relates to the Bolivar Peninsula.
- Videos and Slideshows should be no more than 5 minutes in length. Videos and Slideshows should be uploaded to YouTube. The YouTube link may be emailed to The Texas Crab Festival ([email protected]).
- Photographs should be submitted as a .JPG file and emailed to [email protected]
- The Poster category is open to grades K through 4 only. Posters must be 14 x 22. Name, Grade, and School should be written on the back of the poster.
- Students may work in groups and may enter more than one Presentation; however each Presentation must be submitted separately.
- All Presentations must be turned into the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce office (1750 Hwy 87, Crystal Beach, Hours: M-F, 10-2), with a completed Entry Form, by May 3, 2013. All entries become the property of The Texas Crab Festival, to be made public on our website and to be shown at the Texas Crab Festival.
- Awards will be given for each category in each age range. Winners will be announced at the Texas Crab Festival.
