The Summer 2020 Grand Opening of Fun Spot Waterslide was celebrated this Memorial Weekend with a ribbon cutting. The celebration was sponsored by the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce with many excited patrons ready to hit the slides. The waterslide has been a popular Crystal Beach attraction for over 40 years. Three generations have enjoyed the adventure from youngsters to grandparents, and everyone in between. There’s nothing quite like walking up that ramp for the thrill of the slide down!
Bobby and Tracy Mistrot bought the slides 13 years ago and have continued putting smiles on faces throughout the summer.
Now, amidst the changes and regulations due to Covid-19, Fun Spot complies with the current social distancing guidelines with painted circle markers on the ramp. Keep your distance but still have fun!
